I really enjoyed this website
http://www.funbrain.com/math/index.html
and it allows students to learn math through playing a game of baseball. Depending on how hard the question was or if you got the answer wrong would allow you to run the bases. I know that I would have loved this game when i was in elementary. I was hooked instantly and I know that the kids who like baseball will definitely help them learn about math problems.
This website would also help with differentiation because it allows students who are willing to try out and play this game. It's not a required game, but it is very beneficial if played.

These sites do let students work at their own pace and sometimes at their own level. This is what differentiation is all about.
ReplyDeleteSo this week was all about work collaboratively with your PLN. How did you like working with your group? Do you think that students could benefit from a PLN?
