Technology in the Classroom
The article that discusses why it is important to incorporate technology and computer use in the classroom is full of great points. I totally agree with this article and I feel like students in schools now need this new adjustment. I mean these students are always constantly on Facebook or other internet programs, so why not let them incorporate new useful programs into their education.

I agree. But how do we keep them safe and how do we know that they will stay on task? Can the use of the internet completely replace books and paper and pencil? I think that there can always be a happy medium and just because I find web 2.0 tools useful does not mean that they are appropriate for school. The blog that I read from the experts suggest that they are but the teachers that I meet locally do not. I of course think that they need to move into the 21st century.
