Growing up in the tiny town of Glide, Oregon, gave me the chance to interact with horrible technology while I was in the Glide K-12th grade school system. The school funding was very bad so we only had a few computers that fully worked correctly. This was mainly an issue in elementary school. In high school we had more efficient computers and we had one smart board that students were not allowed to use. I had no PLN experience while in school. This class was my first PLN experience.
My first EDST 221 class was definitely a breath of fresh air because the class structure is very loose and it seems as though the class will be pretty fun.
My expectations for EDST 211 are to gain knowledge of how to work and use new technological subjects such as using twitter or how to blog.

Can I be in your PLN? Please teach me something new. And if class is not fun let me know. I do not want this to be your typical college class. I want it to be very interactive and hopefully engaging. See you next week.
